Charge During Storage
64Ah battery modules need to be recharged if they are stored for more than 6 months.
- Identify battery modules that need recharging.
- Ensure battery module in power-off mode. Refer to Quick Guidance to complete wire connection.
- Set “CV=56V, CC=10A (5°C-45°C)" on the power supply.
- Recharge for 2 hours until the voltage across the port of the module ranges 52.8V to 56V.
Charge Onsite
Before replacing a faulty battery module with a new one, you might need to recharge either the original system or the new battery for voltage balance.
Recharge New Battery Module
If the new battery’s voltage is more than 1V less than the voltage of old battery modules, prepare a portable charger to charge the new one.
Recharge Old Battery Modules
If the new battery’s voltage is more than 1V greater than the voltage of old battery modules, charge the original system in the following way:
- The quantity of original battery modules is greater than 4.
- Remove the faulty battery module and connect the rest battery modules to form a system.
- Charge old battery modules through the PCS.
- The quantity of original battery modules is 3.
- Use a portable charger to charge the two old battery modules respectively.
- Set the charge voltage to the desired voltage and charge the battery modules till its voltage reaches.
